The Europa League Action continues with most European clubs looking for a must-win. Sevilla, Rangers, Celtic and few other teams have already booked their place in the next stage of the competition. For others it will be a must win as a lost will mean their disqualification. Over here we will be giving analysis based on their current form then make predictions.
Europa League Action Game between APOEL vs Sevilla
Sevilla will be looking to keep their 100% record in the 2019/2020 Europa League campaign with a win over APOEL at Neo GSP. The Spaniards has been very impressive in their campaign, they are yet to lose a match and we don’t think they will lose today. Los Sevillanos have already clinched top position in Group A. and so many players will be rested. Julen Lopetegui’s men are going to give fans yet another reason for celebration.
One of the men to watch in the away team, will be summer signing Moanes Dabour, who is eager to find his goal-scoring touch. Thanks to a 2-0 win over Dudelange APOEL secured a top-two finish as well, meaning that they have little to play for in their last group game. Considering that APOEL boss Thomas Doll is likely to mix the squad as well, we are tempted to put our money on the visitors.
Europa League Action Game between AS Roma vs Wolfsberger
AS Roma will be looking to build on a 3-0 win over Istanbul Basaksehir in their last game to seal their group qualification. They will welcome Wolfsberger at their Stadio Olimpico on Thursday evening. The Giallorossi are on the right track to book their place in the Europa League knockout stages. We are positive that they are likely to beat Wolfsberger at home as the Austrians have nothing to play for.
Roma head coach Paulo Fonseca is likely to play his full squad in the match. As always, a man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Edin Dzeko. The Austrian outfit have collected only four points from possible 15. Which is yet another reason home win is adviced. Roma want this win more than the visitors, and we are tempted to put our money on the Italian club.
Europa League Action Game between Porto vs Feyenoord
FC Porto will be looking to climb the top place as they welcome Feyenoord to their Estadio do Dragao on Thursday evening. The Dragons have been producing excellent displays in all competitions. They will come all out as a win will put them on top of the group. Since Feyenoord are already low on confidence away win is not advised.
Porto are a real force to be reckoned with at home. We predict that they are going to secure their place in the Europa League last 32 with a win over Feyenoord. The Dutch side are not regarded as good travelers. We do not believe that they are capable of grabbing something from the match.
Europa League Action Game between Rangers vs Young Boys
Rangers will be looking to seal their Europa League Campaign in success as they welcome Young Boys to their Ibrox Stadium. The home side are leading the standings ahead of their last group match. They are one point away from booking their place in the Europa League last 32. Steven Gerrard’s troops have been producing splendid performances in all competitions this season. We do believe they will win the game.
Boys can make it to the Europa League knockout stages as well as they are level on points with second-placed Porto ahead of the trip to Glasgow. But they have not been good playing away, they have very poor records away. We predict that the hosts are going to pick up all three points from Thursday’s clash. Young Boys defeated Rangers in Bern when the two teams met in their last game. It is going to be to be a revenge mission for Steven Gerald and his team.
Europa League Action Game between Wolfsburg vs Saint-Etienne
After a hard-fought 1-0 win over Oleksandria Wolfsburg booked their place in the Europa League knockout stages. The Wolves, though, want to finish the process in top position in the standings. We are positive that they will leave their hearts on the field in their final group game. The Bundesliga side are a real force to be reckoned with at home. We are tempted to put our money on Oliver Glasner’s troops.
Saint-Etienne, on the other hand, head into Thursday’s clash at Volkswagen Arena with a lack of motivation. Gent ruined les Verts’ qualification hopes, meaning that boss Claude Puel is going to rest first-team regulars. Anyhow, the hosts want this win more than the visitors. We predict that the Ligue 1 side are going to return home empty-handed from the trip to Germany.
