Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni Entertainer has advocated that more women should be elected into the position of power for the country to experience the needed change.
Teni, who made this known in a tweet on her Twitter handle did not explain further why she advocated for more women in power but she seems to believe that women can do better if they are given the chance.
However, some of her followers on the platform gave a different opinion about the singer’s call for more women in power to effect the desired change.
While some supported the call, others kicked against it stressing that some women who have been appointed to be in the position of power in the past had nothing to show for it, someone sighted Diezani Allison Madueke as an example of such women.

In another tweet, the singer opined that there is nothing wrong for a woman to be the breadwinner of a family as against the belief that men must be the one to shoulder all the responsibilities of a family.
Reacting to comments made by some of her followers who commented on a tweet about why house chores should not be considered as the sole responsibility of a wife, Teni advised one of her followers to go back to school for thinking it is a taboo for a man to help his wife with house chores.
