The trial of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, and his wife, Zeenat, has been adjourned to January 25 and 26, 2021. The trial began on Wednesday at the Kaduna State High Court.

El-Zakzaky and his wife are facing eight counts over allegations of culpable homicide, unlawful assembly, disruption of public peace, and criminal conspiracy among others.
