Super Eagles players are already arriving hitting the camp ahead of Sierra Loena clash. The likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Ahmed Musa and Maduka Okoye have already arrived Nigeria for the game. Nigeria will be playing their 2021 AFCON qualifier against Sierra Leone on Friday in Benin City.
Also, reports have it that the three players will arrive Benin which is the venue of the match on Tuesday. Maduka Okoye was in action for his Dutch Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam at the weekend. The goal keeper kept a clean sheet as his side recorded their first win of the season, they won 2-0.
Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute for Leicester City in their 1-0 home win against Wolverhampton. Another player that has arrived is Oghenekaro Etebo and Paul Onuachu while head coach Gernot Rohr is expected to be in Benin today.
On the injury front, Midtjylland midfielder Frank Onyeka who is out and so has been replaced by Shehu Abdullahi. Super Eagles top Group L on six points after two games while Sierra Leone is bottom with just a point. The three-time AFCON winners warmed up for the Sierra Leone ties with two friendly games against Algeria and Tunisia in Austria last month.
