Nigerian Singer Simi advices the youth against raining curses on politicians children over their parents’ misbehaviour.
Simisola Kosoko, Afro-pop singer said that cursing the kids of these evil politicians will affect their mental health negatively.
Following the movement against police brutality, angry Nigerian youth have taken to insulting the politicians and their children.
In the process of revolting, it was discovered that some state governments have been hoarding COVID-19 palliatives.
These relief items were found and looted causing a different wave of anger from the citizens.
Simi is, however, advising Nigerians to be better than the evil they condemn by not cursing politicians’ families.
The singer Simi advices in her tweet,
“I feel like we really shouldn’t be raining curses on the children of these people. I understand the agitation and that most of them don’t care about us, but the goal is to be better than them and I can’t imagine it’s good for the mental health of the kids. We can rise above it”
