About four soldiers have been arrested for kidnapping, robbing and killing of a student of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. Previously about two weeks ago, a missing FUTO student identified as Leo Micah was found dead in Anambra state. He was reportedly kidnapped and killed by unknown people. The police on recovering the corpse launched an investigation into the case.

Fortunately, the police made an arrest of four men gang who were involved in the entire operation. According to their statement, they saw the deceased when he was fixing his car in Owerri. They suspected that he is a criminal or involved in cyber fraud and they kidnapped him under the pretence that he was being arrested. They said they led him away to Anambra state where they transferred all the money in his bank account as well as other valuables.
One of them named Ifeanyi Nwaiwu confirmed that he ordered that he be killed as he was going to talk to the police if they let him go. He said they were scared of being caught or damaging their reputation if he walked away alive.
The suspects are not i custody and will be charged to court accordingly.
