Nigerian singer and songwriter Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, better known by his stage name Kizz Daniel, has announced his decision to quit smoking.
The singer, celebrated his 28th birthday on Sunday, took to his Instagram page to share a video announcing his decision.
In the video captioned, “ON THIS DAY, I QUIT SMOKING 🚭“, Kizz Daniel said he has resolved to quit smoking as a gift to his kids and people who genuinely love him.
With his song “Addict” playing in the background, the father of two was seen reaching for a cigarette pack, opening it and emptying it on the floor after breaking some of it.
While he did that, Kizz Daniel said, “As I celebrate my birthday, for the sake of my kids and people that genuinely love me, I quit. May God save our souls. Respect! Thank you and happy Sunday! God bless!!”
The “Woju” and “Yeba” changed his stage name from ‘Kiss Daniel’ to ‘Kizz Daniel’ in May 2018, because his former record label, G-Worldwide, claimed ownership of the stage name ‘Kiss Daniel’ and due to rights, the artist cannot trade under it after leaving.
