Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac has joined French Ligue 1 side Marseille on a free transfer after being released by the English Premier League North London side. The 28-year-old Bosnian international joined the Gunners from the German side Schalke in June 2017 but has not had good playing this season.

Sead Kolasinac made a total of 118 appearances for Arsenal, and in those appearances, he has not scored many goals but one thing he will be remembered for is the fact that he scored on his debut in a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the FA Community Shield. Arsenal released a statement to the player who has left them.
In the statement, Arsenal said Kolasinac left “by mutual consent” and thanked him “for his contribution to the club”. Kolasinac who returned to Schalke on loan for half of the 2020-21 season was a late substitute in Arsenal’s 2020 FA Cup final victory against Chelsea.
