Former Chelsea and Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o has come to drop a bomb in the ongoing Qatar Fifa World Cup. The Cameroonian said he is sure it is Cameroon and Morocco that will play this year’s World Cup final.
The west African side did well to come back from two goals down to level scores with Serbia as the game ended 3-3. The African side kept their hopes of reaching the World Cup last 16 alive with the draw. Cameroon took the lead through Jean-Charles Castelletto but Strahinja Pavlovic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic replied to give Serbia a half-time advantage.
Aleksandar Mitrovic added a third for Serbia and they looked to be cruising to a win that would have put them in a strong position to progress from the group. However, the Indomitable Lions roared back thanks to Vincent Aboubakar’s superb lob and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s equaliser three minutes later.
Mitrovic had a chance to regain the lead for his side but the Fulham striker curled a shot wide in the closing moments after being teed up by Dusan Tadic. The teams lost their opening match so this result leaves them two points adrift of Brazil and Switzerland, who will later meet today.
After the game, Samuel Eto’o then made the prediction saying he is very sure that it is his Cameroonian side and follow African side Morocco that will make it to the final. Remember Morocco is currently on four points after beating world number four Belgium 2-0.
The prediction from Samuel Eto’o has been received like a bomb on social media as almost everybody is laughing at saying how can seeing that Cameroon has only one point and their next game is with Brazil and there is no room for best losers.
