Following Manchester United brilliance in their 4-2 win over Leeds United, one of their legends Roy Keane, has come out to speak on his former side. The former Manchester United skipper says he believes the Red Devils have what it takes to seal the top four spot in the Premier League at the end of the season.
Roy Keane Believes United will make Top-four Finish
Roy Keane stated this after watching the Red Devils beat Leeds United 4-2 on Sunday. Manchester United now sits in the fourth place position and four points clear of fifth-placed West Ham and Arsenal, but the Gunners have three matches in hand. Wolves are two points further back with two games in hand over United, while Tottenham Hotspur is seven points off Rangnick’s side but have played three games fewer.
According to Roy Keane, he said: “I think United will be fine for fourth, I do.” He also said: “There has been a lot of noise about players wanting to leave or contract situations with (Paul) Pogba or Jesse Lingard, but they just need to focus on the next few months as they are big for the club.”
“They have to try and get that top-four spot and they have a big European match coming up – focus on that and your games.“Then you have a chance to regroup in the summer regarding obviously the manager and they will be looking at recruitment.”
