Cristiano Ronaldo helped Juventus secure a point in Sansiro to give Old Lady boys hope for a return leg. The 35-year-old Portuguese had a late penalty converted by him in the very last minute of the game. The return leg will be played on the 4th of next month March in Turin Juventus home ground. The home team were put in front in the 61st minute of the game by Ante Rebic’s volley.
The game was filled with lots of heat as the referee could not stop issuing yellow cards to the both teams. They had a total of seven yellow cards in the game. The home team had six cards with Theo Hernandez collecting two cards before been sent off in the 71 minutes of the game. Juventus were doing well and mounting all the pressure they can until the goal finally came.
Ronaldo Not too Old to Deliver
Cristiano Ronaldo was offered a controversial penalty in the last minute of the game after he was fouled which the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) approved. Lukaku and Co. failed to impress in their own game against Napoli as they lost by a goal to nil. The league is now contested by Juventus, AC Milan, and Napoli as the top teams playing it.
