Cristiano Ronaldo Scores as Juventus Beat Sampdoria 3-0
Cristiano Ronaldo was on target yesterday in their 3-0 win over Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A Matchday 1. The 3-0 marked Juventus new manager Andrea Pirlo’s first match as head coach with a comfortable 3-0 win over Sampdoria in Serie A. The first goal came from Sweden winger Dejan Kulusevski which was his debut, he gave a calm finish into the bottom left corner.
And then, Leonardo Bonucci prodded in the second for Juventus, who are chasing a 10th successive Scudetto. Cristiano Ronaldo after hitting the crossbar, rounded off the scoring late on from Aaron Ramsey’s through pass. Like Sunday’s other Serie A matches, a small number of supporters were at the season opener after the Italian government allowed up to 1,000 fans to attend matches for the first time since March.
Former AC Milan and Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo who took over former Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri in August, and only received his coaching badge last week is now one win in one game for the new manager.
