Cristiano Ronaldo Back on Track for Juventus
Former Manchester United and Real Madrid Portugues forward Cristiano Ronaldo was very impressive in their home game against Ferencvaros in the Uefa Champions League. He scored to level the scores for the Old Lady side after the visitors went in front in the first 20-minute of the game.
The Old Lady looked to chase table leaders Barcelona and claimed all three points in stoppage-time courtesy an Alvaro Morata strike. Cristiano Ronaldo announced his come-back to the Champions League after missing their game against group leaders Barcelona due to coronavirus. Ronaldo has now scored 70 goals in Champions League home games which have now placed him in the same league as Lionel Messi.

Ferencvaros was the first to find the back of the net. Myrto Uzuni stunned the hosts in the 19th minute with a well-taken strike following a cross from the right-hand side which was deflected off Cuadrado and volleyed in by the striker.
The hosts restored parity in the 35th-minute courtesy Cristiano Ronaldo who cut inside onto his left foot and smashed the ball in from 20 yards. Juventus was now level 1-1 before the first half whistle was blown. Juve continued to dominate in the second 45 minutes as Cuadrado continued as a constant threat down the right-hand side.
The Italians kept the pressure on as it yielded them a second goal in the 68th minute. Cristiano Ronaldo sent a well-crossed ball to former Chelsea star Morata who did not waste any time in heading the ball passed the goalkeeper. The win placed Juventus in the second place position behind leaders Barcelona.
