Premier League Season Resumes
There is confirmation that the Premier League Season will resume on June 17 after the coronavirus pandemic truncated sporting activities around the world.
This announcement is coming after the Premier League club had an agreement over the restart of the league.
With the announcement of the resumption the Premier League resumption on June 17, Manchester City will be playing Arsenal in one of the first matches that would be played at the league’s resumption.
Also, Aston Villa will play host to Sheffield United that same day, signalling the return of the English league.
On the weekend of June 19 to 21, a full fixture list will be played.
The EPL Kick-off times will be as follows:
- Friday: 20:00
- Saturday: 12:30, 15:00, 17:30 and 20:00
- Sunday: 12:00, 14:00, 16:30 and 19:00
- Monday: 20:00
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 18:00 and 20:00
The English Premier League (EPL) will require six weekends to completely finish their league. Liverpool are still topping the league with 25 points clear over second place Liverpool while Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Norwich City are in the relegation places.
Liverpool are chasing their first EPL league title in 30 years, all things being equal they will clinch it with victory in their first game back if second-placed Manchester City loses to Arsenal.

The English Premier League will second in Europe to resume their league after German Bundesliga resumed early this month. The English FA Cup quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will be discussed today Friday.
For the European competition, the last 16 second-leg matches in the Champions League and Europa League are set to be played between 6 and 8 August. Manchester City, Manchester United and Wolves are all still involved. Uefa will discuss the plans at an executive committee meeting in June before a decision is made.
