Paris St-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that both he and forward Kylian Mbappe will be “100%” committed to the team and will be at the club next season. Pochettino’s future has been questioned after his side was knocked out of the Champions League in the last 16. That speculation comes despite the Argentine leading PSG – who he joined in 2021 to the Ligue 1 title.PGS
Pochettino and Mbappe to remain at PSG
France striker Mbappe will be out of contract in the summer and has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid. He was asked about the likelihood of him and Mbappe being at Parc des Princes next season, and he said: “100% in both cases.” “That is how I feel today. That is what I can say to you today. I can’t say anything else. That is how I feel right now.”
He also said: “This is football and we never know what might happen. But I have to answer the question based on how I feel today. And that is what I have done.” However, Pochettino said there have been no official discussions with the club about his future.
The former Tottenham manager said they haven’t been any concrete talks, beyond what is normal in terms of their plans and what they have been doing so far. It was reported that Antonio Conte is linked to the club for the job but the Argentine manager has said he has a natural relationship with the management of the club.
