Plans are in top gear as Marlians celebrate Marlian day today May 30. President of the group called the Marlian group is Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola better identified as Naira Marley.

Naira Marley has earlier announced that he would be celebrating his 26th birthday today which is Marlian day and his fans and group members who like to refer to themselves as Marlians can’t wait for the celebration.

Thought with the social distancing, lockdown order, curfew and ban on social gathering currently being enforced in the country because of the coronavirus pandemic, Marlians would not be able to meet physically to mark the day, they have resolved to have an online party.

The Afropop star, Naira Marley has earlier knitted that Marlian day which would be marked today is dedicated to celebrate Marlians’ liberty and resilience through the challenges they face daily in Nigeria and majorly the hardship associated with the coronavirus pandemic.

He added that Marlian Day will also be dedicated to the frontline workers who are making personal sacrifices for Nigerians and humanity.

To celebrate Marlian day today, an hour live online party would be held from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

The controversial Afropop musician, Naira Marley is known for his tracks like Tesumole, Mafo, Soapy, Isheyen, Tingasa among many others filled with vulgar words.

He will not be hosting today’s party alone, but artists like Zlatan and WurlD would be live at the party as special guests while Zinolesky, Moh Bad and Cblvck would not be left behind.

Ahead of the celebration coming up later today, Marlians have flooded Twitter with expectations while making #MarlianDay trend so actively on the platform.

One of the attendees to look forward to at today’s celebration is DJ Copy who has come out to announce that she is a Marlian, to the shock of so many, including her fans.
