Former Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santos seems to be the leading contender for the Tottenham Hotspur job. The club has been looking for a manager since after the sack of Jose Mourinho on the 19th of April but has endured a chaotic search for the Portuguese replacement.
The club failed to agree with former AS Roma manager Paulo Fonseca as their discussions ended last week on a sad note, and former AC Milan and Napoli Gennaro Gattuso was considered not fit to manage the North London club as fans protested to have had him.
Everton Contacts Nuno Espirito Santos for Managerial Role
Nuno Espirito Santos has been linked with the vacant managerial rule at both Everton and Crystal Palace this summer. Earlier this week, ex-Tottenham striker Jurgen Klinsmann said he was very sure about the White Hart Lane job before Tottenham Hotspur made a shocking move for Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui who rejected the offer.
Earlier in June, Spurs had been in advanced talks with former Inter Milan and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte while also trying to persuade their former manager Mauricio Pochettino to return to the club and leave his job at Paris St-Germain.
