About 200 Nigerians stranded in Canada have requested to be evacuated and would be returned to Nigeria in two days, but are expected to pay about N452,000 to N800,00 for their one-way flight back home.
According to the Nigeria High Commission in Canada, the flight fee would be determined by the class they would love to fly on their trip back home.
The Commission said these set of Nigerians had been stranded in the country because of the travel ban ordered due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Report said they would be evacuated from Toronto and Alberta both locations in Canada and would be landing in the nation’s Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
It would be recalled that Nigeria began its special evacuation of stranded Nigerians from other countries with the 265 evacuated from the United Arab Emirates, the 253 from the UK and 160 from the Us.
The number of stranded Nigerian evacuated so far is now 678.
