Days after the series of looting, the Cross River government quotes N250bn to renovate Tinapa resort.
The state-owned property was vandalised after hoodlum made way into the building seeking relief items.
The Managing Director, Ojong Ayiba and General manager Francis Ekom are now requesting for the sum of N250 billion.
Following this request, they said the amount will cover for the destruction of the resorts infrastructure and other items.
This statement was made to newsmen of the state during an on-the-spot assessment, listing the items to be mostly food items.
Also, the management said the food items belong to private investors who use the property’s industrial warehouse.
However, Nigerians who are unsatisfied with this amount and explanation took to Twitter to vent.
