The Super Eagle of Nigeria will be playing against Cameroon later today, and the head coach of Cameroon António Conceição says his team will go all out for a win against Nigeria. The game is friendly, but the manager says he is seeing taking to the game to be more than just a friendly game.
Nigeria to Battle Cameroon in Austria
The prestige friendly will take place at the 10,000 capacity Stadion Weiner Neustadt, Vienna in Austria. The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have not recorded a win against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their last three meetings, which may be why the manager is talking the way he is.
They have lost two and out of their last three meetings with the Super Eagles and draw one. The manager is, however, confident they can end the barren against the Super Eagles this time around. According to him, he said: “It’s a game we want to win because to us it is not just a friendly game. You look at Nigeria and Cameroon as two rivals who share a common border as countries.”
“Our approach will be to win even though we will try some players to see how they react.” The Super Eagles, on the other hand, are determined to win the game as they have not performed well in their previous games, which have affected their FIFA ranking.
