Asaba Airport is an airport that serves Asaba, the capital of Delta state of Nigeria. The airport also serves Onitsha, which is across the River Niger in Anambra state. The airport is located at Asaba-Benin Expressway, Asaba, Delta state. It was built by the Delta state government in 2011 and is said to have cost #17.5bn. The airport is, therefore, owned and operated by the state government. The airport had a problem with its runway which has now been fixed. The airport also has undergone repair and renovation recently to meet international standards.
