New Confessions on Late Super TV CEO’s Case

The Case of SuperTVCEO, Michael Ataga (deceased), and his alleged killer, Chidinma Ojukwu, is taking another turn as the rented apartment’s owner testifies.

The ongoing case in the Lagos State High Court had got to the stage where it needed to engage the owner of the apartment, Nkechi Mogbo.

The court witness, Mogbo, gave a detailed confession on how the late Super TV CEO’s body was found lifeless in the house.

She revealed this information while giving evidence as to the first prosecution witness, PW1, in the trial of Chidinma Ojukwu and two other suspects.

It would be noted that Chidinma, along with her sister, Chioma Egbuchu, and one Adedapo Quadri, is being tried for the murder of the Ataga.

The witness told the court that she had a series of conversations with the accused and negotiated the price for leasing the apartment.

While the concluded price was one hundred and twenty-five thousand naira for a three-day stay, Mogbo noted that Chidinma requested to inspect the property before making her decision to pay or not.

After Chidinma made the payment, the witness told the court that days later, she spoke with her security guard, who reported the death of Ataga, adding that the girl had evacuated her belongings a night before the discovery of the dead body.
