Moussa Dembele has completed his loan move to top Spanish side Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid confirmed his signing from Lyon late in the day, and it was gathered it is a loan.

The La Liga side who are currently topping the league will pay a €1.5m (£1.35m) fee to loan Moussa Dembele for the rest of the season, with an option to buy him at the end of the season.
Following the departure of the player, Lyon has announced that the agreed fee is €33.5m (£29.9m) with a further €5m (£4.45m) in add-ons. According to Atletico, they said: “With Dembele’s arrival, we add a young yet experienced footballer who’s strong both physically and as a finisher.”
Atletico also said in a statement completing the player, and they said: “His height also makes him a threat in the air and his speed allows him to run past the opposition’s defenders.”
Moussa Dembele has scored 45 goals in all competitions for Lyon after leaving Celtic in September 2018. The plans include a memorable double against English Premier League side Manchester City.
His coming will fill in the space left by Diego Costa whose contract was terminated recently. Lyon signed Leicester City and Algerian forward Isman Slimani to replace Dembele.
