The first leg ended 2-1 for the Norwegians, so the Giallorossi needed to win by two clear goals to reach the Conference League semi-final. Jose Mourinho decided to soak in the atmosphere on the way to the stadium, as he asked the team bus to stop in the middle of the Viale Angelico when he saw a group of supporters waving flags and torches.
According to reports, Mourinho then got out of the bus and wanted to personally salute the fans. The salute was completed after his side did well to roll over the Norwegian side 4-0 to win 5-2 on aggregate. The Portuguese man is now looking at a semifinal clash and possibly a final which could be against an English Premier League side Leicester City who beat the Dutch side in their encounter.
