The Minister of health, Osagie Ehanire has said that the Nigerian Government has handed the touted cure of COVID-19 by Madagascar, the COVID organics to the Ministry of Health.
The Minister said this during the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 briefing by the team on Monday in Abuja, he said the NAFDAC has also gotten samples of the COVID organics.
“The Madagascar herb has been transferred to the Ministry of Health, NAFDAC has collected samples, the NIMR will also receive samples as well as the Ministry of Science and Technology for evaluation.”
The minister of state for health, Olorunnimbe Mamora said they are presently working with 19 firms in the country to review herbal remedies for coronavirus.
“Nigeria now has 112 treatment and isolation centres with 5,322 beds. As the number of confirmed cases continues to rise, state governments are advised to expand treatment centres.”
