He made 27 appearances in an injury-hit final season in his second spell.

The likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris St-Germain, and also Manchester United rivals Manchester City are all interested in the player. It is likely the player will make a return to the Italian Serie A where he played his best football with Juventus as the Old Lady team is also interested in signing him.
