The visitors came back into the game in the 61st minute, but Pep Guardiola’s men were fully prepared for them. Gabriel Jesus restored the lead in the 80th minutes before Mahrez made it 3-1.
Jesus scored his brace three minutes after Mahrez’s goal to round the scores to 4-1. With the win, Manchester City has now extended their winning run to 21 games in all competitions.

Manchester City has not trailed for a single minute in any of their last 19 English Premier League games, which means they have now equalled Arsenal’s record. Pep Guardiola’s men have now equalled Arsenal’s record between December 1998 and May 1999.
They have now 15 points clear of second-placed Manchester United. Manchester United failed to move closer to the league leaders after playing out a goalless draw with Thomas Tuchel’s men on Sunday.
