The Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has inaugurated a committee for the state 20 years development plan.
The inauguration took place at the executive council chamber, Secretariat, Ibadan.
Present at the inauguration is top government officials, commissioners and Lawmakers,.
Others are members of various pressure groups as well as religious leaders.
Makinde said the state needs a homegrown long-term plan to transform its social-economic development.
Meanwhile, he said his administration envisioned a 20-year world-class developmental plan with effect from 2021 to 2040.
Earlier, Makinde had commissioned the transit accommodation built by the military for personnel posted to the 2 Division, Nigeria Army, Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ibadan.
During the commissioning, he thanked members of the Nigeria Army in Oyo State.
