Colombian Striker Luis Suarez Joins Granada from Watford
Colombian international Luis Suarez who plays for Watford has been sold by the club to sold to Spanish side Granada in a deal worth around £10m. The 22-year-old did not play a game for the Hornets in the three years he was at Vicarage Road. He spent his time on loan in Spain, first joining Real Valladolid B team for the 2017-18 season and then spending the following campaign at Gimnastic.
He was Real Zaragoza’s top scorer last season as he helped the club reach Spain’s second division play-offs. He has now moved to the Spanish La Liga where he is expected to have more playing time.
Luis Suarez is yet to play a competitive game for his country Colombia, but with the level of consistency and goal-scoring abilities, we are optimistic he will be given an invitation soon. Granada is currently in the 9th place position as they have played three games in the new league winning two and losing one.
