The Nigeria Police Force in Abuja on Monday confirmed the arrest of a pastor and his son in connection with the Kubwa P.W alleged ritual killing. A female mutilated corpse was dumped in Kubwa around P.W road. It passers-by in the early hours of Monday morning that saw the mutilated parts and raised an alarm.
Kubwa P.W Ritual Killing: Bishop Amadi A. Amadi and Pastor Son Arrested
A source said that one Bishop Amadi A. Amadi of Freedom Chapel International and his son Kelechi Amadi in connection to the killing. They were both arrested after a keke rider approached the police and told them that he conveyed the three sacks used in concealing the remains of the victim.
The source also said, the son Kelechi Amadi told the Keke rider that the sacks were containing scraps. He asked him to take them to the PW Bridge dumping site in Kubwa. The rider said he charged him N1,000 and he was paid the amount charged.
The following morning scavengers known as baban bola broke the bags in search items. As they broke the sack then they discovered the contents and alerted people.
The Keke rider in the morning while using the same route saw people gathered and then stopped to see what was happening then he realized it was the same sacks he disposed that contained the mutilated body. He then voluntarily led the police to the church.
The pastor’s son and his father Bishop Amadi A. Amadi were both arrested. They were in handcuffs as the Nigerian police led out of the building by the police around 3pm on Monday into a police van.
The police later returned to the area on Tuesday afternoon to make further searches on the building before they sealed the church premises which is in Kubwa.
