Katsina State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Dr Rabe Nasir, has reportedly been killed by some unidentified killers.
Nasir, whose life was snatched recently, according to the state police command, was assassinated in his private residence sited at Fatima Shema Quarters in Katsina metropolis.
From investigations, the police learnt that Rabe Nasir was killed right in his parlour while they allegedly moved the remains to the toilet section of the residence.
Evident on the crime scene were traces of heavy blood flow from the spot in the living room where they killed him to the toilet where the killers dumped the corpse.

According to the report, it took several hours for security agents to retrieve the corpse after the doors were forced open.
One of the persons who saw the dead body said there were knife cuts in his belly and other parts of his body.
Meanwhile, Governor Aminu Bello Masari, top members of his cabinet and security operatives were at the commissioner’s residence when the body was removed.
