Former Nigerian captain Joseph has been appointed as the super Eagles assistant coach. The former Everton and Notwich player who has represented nigeria at different levels was handed the position today wednesday. The former captain who led Nigeria to the 2013 Nations Cup which Super Eagles came victorious under the supervision of late Stephen Keshi.
The 39-years-old Nigeria will be assisting the current Nigerian coach. The recent developments in sports especially in football about a week ago Daniel Amokachi was named Nigerian sports ambassador by the president of the country Mohammed Buhari.
Joseph Yobo has played both in the Turkish league and the Premier League. He went to study coaching in Turkey for two years it is after his studies that he was given the coaching job. He will be resuming his duties as asssitant coach to the Super Eagles of Nigeria immediately.
