Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva has submitted her committee’s recommendations on how to reposition the creative and tourism industry in Lagos state.
Confirming the receipt of the reports, The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, said it has received the report of members of the Lagos State COVID-19 Impact Review Committee.
In a tweet on its Twitter handle, the state government disclosed that the Ministry of Arts and Culture had promised to diligently look into the recommendations made by the team.
In his remarks, the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Arts and Culture, Mr Solomon Bonu said the Ministry would review the report.
He further stated that the Ministry would also advise Governor Babajide Sanwoolu accordingly on how to get the creative sector moving amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Joke Silva, who is the chairman of the committee thanked the State Government for the opportunity to come up with recommendations to reposition the creative and tourism industry in the State.
You will recall that the actress had in a few days ago debunked the rumour that went viral on the social media that her husband Olu Jacobs was dead.
Also, actress, Lala Akindoju and Kate Henshaw in a tweet on their Twitter page debunked the rumours and confirmed that Olu Jacob was not dead but hale and hearty.
