Iheanacho Beats Messi, Ronaldo to Top Search Chart

Nigeria and Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho has beaten the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to be the most viewed player on the Transfermarkt website according to the last 24 hours check.

The Leicester City star player scored and provided an assist in the 2-1 win over Crystal Palace in the English Premier League Matchday 33 Monday night football game. The game was played in the their King Power Stadium. According to the latest rating on Transfermarkt website, Kelechi Iheanacho was rated ahead of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the top ten most viewed players.

The former Manchester City forward was placed  one step higher than Real Madrid’s forward Karim Benzema. Lionel Messi was placed in the third place position. The Argentine international who has won six ballon d’Ors and has been inspirational for Barcelona’s 2021 La liga chase. 

Also in the list is Chelsea’s American forward, Christian Pulisic. Pullisic scored the all-important away goal for the English Premier League side as they played out a 1-1 draw in their first leg of the Uefa Champions League semifinals last night. Portugal and Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo occupies the fifth place position after Pullisic before Timo Werner in the sixth place position.

Former Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard came seventh on the list before PSG’s goal machine Kylian Mbappé in the eight place position.

Borussia Dortmund’s point man Erling Haaland is in the ninth place position and then Turkish international Burak Yilmaz occupies the tenth place position in the list. Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho is still valued at just €15m, although he has been in an impressive goal scoring form of late. The Nigerian has scored nine times in his last seven English Premier League games and was voted the Premier League Player of the month of
