Femi Adesina
Media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina, has finally replied those who lambast him for always defending his boss no matter what he is accused of at a point in time.
Femi Adesina, wrote on his verified Twitter account @FemiAdesina that he owed nobody apologies for being a Buharist and he is not ready to stop being one.
“ I am a Buharist any day, no apologies, and I believe the President is leading the country well.” According to him, President Buhari is doing well and Nigerians should be happy to have him at the helms of affiars of the country at time like this.
Adesina in his opinion also thinks any Nigerian who thinks otherwise is nothing but a mischief-maker, he stressed that whenever those he described as “mischief-makers” make comments against President Buhari he only laughs it off.
It would be recalled that Femi Adesina defended his boss when Nigerians complained of being silent on the Coronavirus pandemic that was imported to the country which has become his usual approach to most national issues.
According to him, not talking on every matter is the style of the President in leading the country, however, Buhari later spoke with Nigerians after several outcries.
One of the latest criticism Adesina had to battle was about the appointment of Ibrahim Gambari who was appointed as a replacement for the late Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari.
It would be recalled that Adesina had before now accused Gambari of having hands in the execution of Ken Saro-Wiwa under the regime of Sani Abacha.
His critics immediately reminded him of his comments and what he would do to make things work between him and Gambari after the accusation now that he has become his boss and would need to work closely with him.
