Some suspected Fulani Herdsmen have allegedly attacked the residence of Sunday Igboho’s mother.
According to Igboho’s spokesman, Olayomi Koiki, three suspected Fulani herders invaded the residence at Igboho on Sunday, March 21.
Also, a former Minister of Aviation, Fani Kayode, while confirming the attack, disclosed that one of the suspected herders was apprehended.
In a tweet, the former Minister revealed that the suspects were apprehended in Igboho’s mother’s home in Igboho. According to Fani Kayode, their mission was to harm Mama, adding that one of the suspects escaped whilst the other is with the police.
The attack is coming a few days after Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, declared that the Yoruba Nation is no longer part of Nigeria.
You will recall that Igboho had during a press conference in Ibadan declared that the Southwest region is no longer part of Nigeria, adding that people live like slaves in their land.
Igboho, who accused President Muhammadu Buhari of favouring people of the Fulani tribe, noted that the situation at hand might take a twist if the United Nations fail to intervene on time.
According to him, all critical federal agencies, especially the Tin Can Ports in Apapa and other maritime infrastructure, are controlled by people from the northern region.
However, Igboho advised Yorubas residing in the north to find their way back home within the space of 72 hours.
