Hazard was making a return to Stamford Bridge for the first time since he left the club in 2019 and was caught on camera joking and laughing with ex-teammates Edouard Mendy and Kurt Zouma at full time.

This reaction from the Belgian star infuriated many fans who took to social media to register their displeasure with Hazard.
Hazard took to Instagram to apologize to the fans, reiterating that it is a dream to play for Real Madrid and his actions after the Chelsea game were not intentional.
