Victor Osimhen Praises Manager Gennaro Gattuso
Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen has described his head coach as the real man and he enjoys playing under him, the former AC Milan player and Coach Gennaro Gattuso had to let some add up some funds to ensure the Nigerian joined his team. Victor Osimhen has said he likes the manager and so far he is very pleased with the way the coach has been treating him.
Gattuso played a key role in Osimhen’s move from Ligue 1 club Lille to Napoli this summer. The 21-year-old has enjoyed a perfect start to life at the club, with six goals and an assist in two pre-season outings for the Blues. Victor Osimhen said he used to think Gattuso was rough and no-nonsense style play in his playing days, but now he has come to realize the Italian has very interesting personality and so he calls him the real man.
According to Osimhen, he said: “From the way, he talks to you, and by looking him in the eyes, you can see that Gattuso is a real man, he’d never bullshit you.” Osimhen has so far scored six goals in the two pre-season friendly games, the young lad has scored two hat-tricks already for the Italian Serie A side. They will be playing their next pre-season game on the 11th of this month against Pescara on.
