This is a letter to myself and anyone who can relate to feeling insecure sometimes. You don’t have to compare yourself to the millions of other people you walk past every day. You don’t have to ever feel threatened by them. You don’t ever have to wonder if things would have worked out if you were better looking. Every time you look in the mirror, you should not see flaws and imperfections. Don’t have a battle with yourself and find the courage to see that you deserve your love more than anything else on this earth.
Things are playing out in life just as they are supposed to. So stop telling yourself if you looked better or smarter, things would have worked out for you. It has nothing to do with your looks or your image because every part of you is perfect. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, everyone is capable of doing amazing things.
When you’re feeling insecure, remember this and remind yourself that there is so much about life that only you have to offer. You’re the only one who can provide and trust yourself to do those amazing things. We are only human and we spend all our time focused on what is around us rather than what is within. So you may never see what others see in you. As you read this, take a moment to look within and see all the amazing lives you have touched. You have accomplished things and you’re beautiful. Also, love yourself because it’s the best thing you can do for yourself.
Mostly, do not be ashamed of feeling insecure. Like most other things you have to work for, the more you work to heal your insecurities, the more secure you will become.
