Being a fool isn’t associated to any day, it’s just an act of human. One of the theories concerning this day suggests that April 1st only became the fool’s day as a result of Geoffrey Chaucer’s 14th-century collection, ‘The Canterbury Tales’, wherein Chaucer includes a playful reference to ‘’32 March’’, or April 1st. This has made scholars to consider it as a mere copying error. So, it has nothing to do with being a fool because of the day.
It’s another April Fool’s Day in the corner even though the world is in torrid times as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. Although many (e.g. Google) are backing out of this year’s April fool’s day because of the pandemic, we cannot but observe this day as it were.
I’m wishing all April Fool’s day celebrant birthday wishes. Do have a beautiful day.
