Rio Ferdinand wants Manchester United to sign Aubameyang
Former Manchester United skipper Rio Ferdinand has revealed he wants Manchester United to sign Arsenal point man Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang. The player said he has always wanted United to sign the player before he joined Arsenal.
Rio Ferdinand said the Gabonese striker and captain have established himself as one of the most prolific goalscorers in the world during his spell at Borussia Dortmund but it seems Arsenal is not giving him the same chance as his game seems to have dropped.
The former Manchester United player also said Aubameyang has done well at Arsenal as he has scored 75 goals in 126 appearances so far. The striker has however been in poor form after signing a new contract with the club.
He has only scored three goals after the signing in the English Premier League this season and the ex-United player says Gunners boss Mikel Arteta must find a way to get the 31-year-old firing.
