As a follow up on the open investigation by Federal Competition & Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) against Med Contour, FCCPC has summoned Dr. Anu Fella a.k.a Dr Anu of Med Contour to attend the FCCPC’s public investigation meeting on “possible or potential violation of consumer/ patients right under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) and Sundry Enactments/ Guidelines”.
The public investigation according to the body will be held at the FCCPC office situated at N0. 18 Ilupeju Bypass, Ilupeju, Lagos state on Monday, May 4, 2020, by 10 am.
FCCPC however stressed that the public investigation is subject to if ther is no extension granted in to the lockdown order in a bid to avoid further spread of Coronavirus in Nigeria, especially Lagos state the country’s epic centre or any other circumstances.
It state that open investigation would allow testimonies and provision of evidence with regards to the FCCPC’s ongoing investigation into the cosmetic surgery activities being carried out by Med Contour.
It would be recalled that the FCCPC yesterday, sealed Med Contour’s office situated at Lekki Phase 1, Lagos state pending further investigations.
These developments are coming after several clients of Med Contour took to the social media to tell stories of a cosmetic surgery gone bad, tendering gory pictures of their scares as evidences againt the outfit.
