Emmanuel Dennis Scores in the Opening Game of the Uefa Champions League
Super Eagles star player Emmanuel Dennis helped Club Brugge get off to a perfect start of the Champions League campaign, he helped his team secured a comfortable 2-1 away to Zenit St Petersburg. Emmanuel Dennis‘ side is in Champions League Group F and their opening game yesterday was the perfect one.
The player said before the match that he always scores big teams and he actually did yesterday after the gaol he did the Black Lives Matter sign with one knee bent down and one fist raised up.
After a goalless first half, Dennis opened the scoring for Club Brugge in the 63rd minute of the game to put his side in front but the home side Zenit equalised in the 74th minute of the game following an own goal by Club Brugge’s Ethan Horvath. Clube Brugge restored the winning in the last minute of the game, Charles De Ketelaere scored the winner for the Belgian giants to give them a comfortable away win.
The group’s other game was between Lazio and German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, the game ended 3-1 in favour of the Italians Lazio. Lazio is currently topping the Group F with goal diffrence ahead of Clube Brugge.
