Edo Government To Train 15,000 Software Developers

The Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki has reiterated his administration’s commitment to focus on technology and create a digital economy before 2025.

Obaseki made this known when he launched the Edo Tech Park in Benin City during an event themed, Building the next generation of tech leaders.

According to him, the Edo Tech Park is open to youths with the right skill-set across the state.

Obaseki added that his administration would train and host a minimum of 15,000 software developers in the next four years.

The governor further disclosed that his administration has been using technology as he also opined that he would do everything possible to integrate it into driving other sectors in the economy.
