He described the celebration as an opportunity to renew hope, Faith, show love and appreciation to one another and not despair.
President Buhari noted that his administration would not abandon the weak, the poor and the underprivileged Nigerians.
Buhari added that his government had reached out with COVID-19 palliative care to provide support to families and businesses affected at this time amid dwindling resources, an act he described as the spirit of Easter.
He recalled that the 2020 Easter celebrations were somewhat subdued, as countries worldwide battled the Coronavirus pandemic.
Buhari further acknowledged and appreciated the sacrifices of doctors, nurses and other frontline health workers, who have worked towards curtailing the pandemic.
