After days of keeping her fans in suspense about what she described as as a life-changing contract, famous Nigerian disk jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy has shared the news with her fans.
While sharing the news on her Twitter handle, Cuppy, who is the daughter of Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola disclosed that she now has a new weekly radio show called Africa Now.
According to the tweet, the new radio show would be aired on Apple Music, hence, making her the first ever African to host such a show on the popular App.
DJ Cuppy To Host Radio Show
Some hours before she finally let the cat out of the bag on Thursday, May 28th, Cuppy had uploaded a video of herself playing Afro music as she later demanded a 1,000 retweet of one of her tweets to reveal the news.
“1,000 RETWEETS then I’ll reveal the life-changing contract I signed and dream job I landed! Are you finally ready for the HUGE NEWS.”
Meanwhile, Cuppy had on May 25 tweeted about how being an African was the best thing that ever happened to her.
She posted a photo of herself to portray that she was proud of been an African as she joined other Africans to mark the 2020 Africa Day.
In the meantime, famous Nigerian singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi has announced on his Twitter handle that the weekly radio show to be hosted by Dj Cuppy would be launched on Sunday May 31, by 2 pm Nigerian time.
