Nigerians to encounter certain limitations without COVID-19 vaccine
In the latest projection, the government is saying that about 70% of people will be vaccinated in the country and that the time will come soon when certain limitations or even sanctions will be placed on people who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine.
This was iterated by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha in a meeting in Abuja to explain to religious leaders about the vaccine which should be launched very soon.
Mustapha explained that the rest of the world has accepted the vaccines and have begun to take them, and Nigeria should not be an exception. He further encouraged Nigerians and said that there is nothing bad in the prevention of coronavirus.
According to him, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), will review the vaccines when they arrive in Nigeria to ensure that they are fit for use.
