English Premier League side Chelsea have sacked their head coach Frank Lampard after 18 months in charge. Chelsea did well to beat Luton Town 3-1 in the English F.A Cup to advance to the competition’s fifth round.
Lampard Sacked as Chelsea Head Coach after 18 Months
The 3-1 win was not enough to save the former Chelsea and Manchester City 42-years-old midfielder. Chelsea currently sits in the ninth-place position after losing 2-0 to Leicester City last week. They have only won one game out of their last five games which are not accepted by the management.

The 3-1 victory over Luton Town in the English F.A Cup is Fran Lampard’s last game for the London club. Frank Lampard was given a three years contract replacing former Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge in July 2019.
He guided Chelsea to fourth place and the F.A Cup final in his first season with the club, but the club has suffered a lot under him. He has spent over £200m in signing new players, but the players did not advance the club.
Chelsea is in touch with former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel and former Juventus coach Allegri to take over his place.
