Chelsea Forced to Draw at Home by Struggling Burnley
The Blues who has been in great form was shocked at the end of the full time whistle. The game is supposed to be a win game following Manchester City win over Manchester United to mount pressure on the United boss Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer. It was expected that the Blues should have won the game and seal their top place position.
Their right-back James who provided the assist has been involved in six starts this season. The Blues almost scored a hatful with Thiago Silva’s header hitting the post, while Nick Pope saved well from Callum Hudson-Odoi in each half.
But Burnley leveled when Ashley Westwood whipped in a cross which Jay Rodriguez headed across to Vydra to stab home. Chelsea is now three points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table, while Burnley remains in the relegation zone.
