It has been rumoured that Edinson Cavani is no longer comfortable in England, owing to the sanction he suffered from the FA for making a remark that was considered racist.
These rumours have now been confirmed by Edinson Cavani’s father, Luis Cavani.
Cavani’s father fuels son’s Man United exit rumours
Luis Cavani says his son is unsettled at Manchester United, and his ban for a racist remark has had a bearing on the situation. He also added that Juan Roman Riquelme is trying to bring him to Boca Juniors, and Luis says there is a 60 per cent chance it will happen.
Cavani had managed to find some good form after recovering from coronavirus, scoring three goals in five games earlier this year. Still, he has been missing recently through injury, and Ole Gunner Solskjaer has been asked whether he will stay beyond the one-year deal he signed from Paris Saint-Germain.
Solskjaer will expect questions about Luis Cavani’s comments when he faces the media ahead of the Europa League last-16 second leg against AC Milan. He might also be asked whether Cavani might be attracted by playing with former United frontman Carlos Tevez at Boca.
